Scope

This notice explains how G&G Automotive (“G&G,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, retains, and shares information through ggautopartsusa.com, its customer and business-account portals, and related support and ordering services.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with G&G, we may collect:

• contact and account information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, and securely protected account credentials;
• vehicle and fitment information, including a VIN, year, make, model, requested part, and fitment confirmations;
• order and commercial information, including products viewed or purchased, quotes, invoices, returns, pickup or shipping selections, business-account status, approved pricing, credit terms, and payment status;
• business-account application information and documents that you choose to provide for account or tax-status review;
• communications sent through customer support, company email, account applications, or other G&G channels; and
• technical and security information, such as IP address, browser or device information, session records, security events, and audit activity.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Square or another payment provider identified during checkout. G&G receives payment status, transaction identifiers, limited card details such as brand and last four digits, and refund information. G&G does not store complete payment-card numbers or security codes in this system.

Connected financial accounts and Plaid

An authorized G&G administrator may choose to connect a business financial account through Plaid. When that connection is authorized, Plaid facilitates access to the selected account information and G&G may receive masked account identifiers, account type, balances, and transaction information such as dates, amounts, merchants, descriptions, and categories. G&G uses that information for business bookkeeping, cash-flow reporting, reconciliation, fraud and error review, and other internal financial-management purposes.

G&G does not receive or store the online-banking username or password used in Plaid Link. Plaid’s handling of information is also governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. A connected account can be disconnected by contacting G&G at the address below; certain accounting, transaction, security, and legal records may still need to be retained.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; locate and verify parts; prepare quotes and invoices; process payments, orders, returns, pickups, and shipments; administer business pricing and approved credit; provide support; communicate about your relationship with G&G; maintain business and accounting records; detect fraud or misuse; protect customers, employees, and systems; comply with law; and improve our services.

How we share information

We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to service providers that support payments, financial-account connectivity, shipping, email, hosting, security, analytics, professional services, and marketplace operations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, to investigate fraud, or as part of a financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell customer account information, bank-transaction data, or personal information for money, and we do not use connected financial-account data for targeted advertising.

Cookies and essential technology

Our services use cookies or similar technology needed for sign-in, shopping-cart functions, security, preferences, and reliable operation. Blocking essential cookies may prevent accounts or checkout features from working correctly.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including orders, warranties, returns, taxes, accounting, approved credit, disputes, fraud prevention, security, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We use measures such as encrypted connections, access restrictions, audit records, protected credentials, and role-based controls. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may update certain account details through your portal or ask us to access, correct, or delete eligible personal information. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. We may need to verify a request and may retain information that is required for transactions, accounting, security, fraud prevention, disputes, or law. You may also opt out of nonessential promotional email by using the method provided in the message; transactional account and order messages will continue when necessary.

Children

G&G’s services are intended for adults and businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our services or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be presented through the website or another appropriate notice.
